Can you tell us about your career journey at BurdaLuxury?
BurdaLuxury has given me the opportunity to explore and have fun with social media. Despite being a publishing business, my managers and colleagues have given me free regin to do whatever I see fits for socials, and of course, reap the rewards in terms of impressions and reach.
What’s the most exciting part of your job?
To actually create memes based on trending pop culture shows – I love it.
When I saw a job listing for a social media manager position at BurdaLuxury, I was like, "Wow, this is the first time I've seen a publishing company willing to invest in a person to do only socials. They know what they're doing". That's why I applied for the job and I got it (LOL).
What is your typical day like as Social Media Manager?
It starts off with coffee (LOL). No, correction, it starts of with posting IGS first, then coffee, followed by admin matters, answering emails, scheduling FB & IG posts. Then there's lunch, and it's back to scheduling posts & working with sales/editorial for advertorials.
What animal would you consider your spirit animal?
Dove or raven. Any animal that can has wings and can fly.
If you could give your past self advice, what would it be?
Never regret the decisions you've made, only regret those that you did not make.
