HELLO! Magazine Thailand Partners With Raks Thai Foundation for STEM Education

On 18 October 2024, HELLO! Magazine Thailand hosted its sixth annual H! List under the theme ‘Charity Soirée,’ raising over 2.1MB (US$62,000). In alignment with its commitment to giving back, part of the proceeds from 2024’s H! List was dedicated to Raks Thai Foundation – one of HELLO! Magazine Thailand’s H! List beneficiaries – and its campaign, “STEM สานฝันสร้างอนาคต” (translation: STEM Fulfilling Your Dreams and Building Your Future) – aimed at improving small-sized schools and sustaining quality education.

With this commitment in mind, on Wednesday, 5 February 2025, the publication’s marketing team, accompanied by Kessuda Marawichai, Editor-in-Chief of HELLO! Magazine Thailand and representatives of Raks Thai Foundation, travelled to Wat Ban Kling School in Ayutthaya to observe the project’s progress.

The morning consisted of welcome speeches from Wilaiphan Sappawat, Director of Wat Ban Kling School and Supornthip Choungrangsee, Vice Chairperson of Raks Thai Foundation. In her speech, Choungrangsee emphasised the school’s needs for child development through Active Learning and STEM education.

The day progressed with students taking part in mini camp activities with both the Raks Thai Foundation and HELLO! Magazine Thailand teams. These activities included games such as Know Yourself and The More You Know, The More You Love, which were aimed at testing leadership qualities and building critical thinking skills.

“HELLO! Magazine Thailand remains deeply committed to providing the future generations with a brighter future,” said Marawichai of the partnership. “Our collaboration with Raks Thai Foundation represents our dedication to providing those in need with the tools required to achieve great success, and this visit to Wat Ban Kling School was a positive indication toward sustainable education and growth.”

The afternoon concluded with the students of Wat Ban Kling School expressing their gratitude and appreciation to HELLO! Magazine Thailand and Raks Thai Foundation – providing team members with pieces of artwork to remember them by.
