Prestige Hong Kong Kickstarts the Art for Third Consecutive Year

March in Hong Kong is a celebration of the arts, with Art Basel Hong Kong transforming the city into a dynamic hub of creativity. This year, Art Basel Hong Kong took place from March 26 to 30, 2025, bringing together 240 exhibitors from 42 countries and territories, including 23 newcomers, presenting artistic practices that reflect the show’s commitment to global diversity and regional representation.

For the third consecutive year, Prestige Hong Kong set the tone for the week with its highly anticipated “Kickstart the Art” party, in partnership with Black Sheep. Held on the evening of March 25th at Black Sheep’s soon-to-open Jean-Pierre in Central, the evening brought together a mix of creatives, collectors, art enthusiasts, and influential figures.

Guests were treated to performances by DJ Hans, Carol Tam, and Benny Cullen, whose energies set the scene for attendees to mingle, enjoy delicious food and beverages, and revel in their collective passion for art.

This year, Prestige Hong Kong further amplified its presence in Hong Kong’s Art Week by hosting a “Women in Art” panel discussion at The Landmark Hong Kong, supported by Prestige Women of Power, and featuring Lauren Tsai, Florence Ho, and Afa Lee. The panel was moderated by Oceana Ou, Managing Director & Publisher, BurdaLuxury Hong Kong.

The Women in Art panel discussion delved into the role of women in art, the intersection of fashion and artistic expression, and the demand for greater female representation in the industry. Tsai’s new installation at The Landmark Atrium, My Dream: The Hill, served as the backdrop for the discussion – further highlighting the need for female representation in the art world.

Every year, Prestige Hong Kong further solidifies its presence as a cultural trailblazer, reinforcing that its commitment to the arts extends beyond mere celebration – it is a driving force in amplifying voices, particularly for women within the industry.

Prestige Hong Kong’s role in Hong Kong Art Week was a celebration of embracing femininity and how everyone can play a part in promoting women in art.
