On the evening of 8 October 2025, Lifestyle Asia Singapore celebrated its inaugural Made in Asia party – an evening of conversations, creativity, and connection across the region – welcoming 150 guests to Sugarra, in partnership with Resorts World Sentosa, Montigo, and Roku Gin.
Made in Asia – a campaign launched with both Lifestyle Asia Singapore and Malaysia – is designed to connect the cultural dots and communities across Southeast Asia, aiming to establish a cross-border community. The party comes as a continuation of the Brain Date Sessions hosted earlier this year which spotlighted a culture of learning, inspiration, and empowerment and encouraged participants to elevate their own journeys across the region.

Under the theme “Two Cities, One Beat”, and a dress code of “Local Identity,” Lifestyle Asia Singapore’s inaugural Made in Asia party celebrated the best from homegrown talents. The event commenced with welcome speeches from Martin Teo, Editor-in-Chief, Lifestyle Asia Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Lena Kwek, Managing Director and Publisher, BurdaLuxury Singapore and Malaysia, and Chef Aitor Gonzalez.

This was followed by entertainment provided by DJ Farah Farz and an interactive feature with Fashion Illustrator Hwi, who circulated the room, sketching guests’ outfits, with each guest receiving their own custom drawing.

The entertainment portion of the evening was followed by a Best Dressed ceremony that featured prizes highlighting Singapore’s luxury and local talent. Prizes spanned products from Jung Saem Mool, a Luxasia La Prairie caviar facial, products from YSL Libre, and sets of vouchers worth up to S$500 courtesy of LIAU.
Winners of the Best Dressed Ceremony included Opera Tang, Claire Tan, and Khairul Ameer.
In addition to the Best Dressed prizes, Hunny Madu won the Club Med Lucky Draw which included a 5-day 4-night stay at the Club Med Kani in the Maldives.
Lifestyle Asia Singapore’s inaugural Made in Asia party saw notable guests in attendance, including individuals who have been featured on the Made in Asia podcast, and prominent figures from both Singapore and Malaysia.
Attendees included Nicol David, Opera Tang, YK, Law Jia Jun, Glenn Yong, Estelle Fly, Ashley Kiara, iamyaung, Claire Tan, Ivan, Hunny Madu, Kim May Chee, Bella Kuan, Yazmin Aziz, Shalma Ainaa, Hwi, Koh Li Tim, Nalisa Alia Amin, and Ceddy Ang among many others.
