Travel + Leisure India & South Asia launched the stunning April 2022 cover, featuring the phenomenal Miss World 2017 winner Manushi Chillar against the idyllic backdrop of the shoot's location partner, The Leela Palace Jaipur.
The iconic hotel was recently renovated in 2021 to provide Travel + Leisure India & South Asia with exclusive access to some gorgeous décor and architecture inspired by Rajasthan, making it the ideal setting for the brand's April Cover Story.
Manushi Chillar, a well-known Bollywood actress who previously held the title of Miss World in 2017, was an ideal choice for this campaign. The cover model has over 6.4 million Instagram followers on her personal account, which allowed the brand to reach a wider audience.



Because Manushi was always on the go and needs help keeping her clothes crease-free and stylish for public appearances, Travel + Leisure India & South Asia invited Philips to showcase their garment care range. As styling partner for this cover shoot, the brand received a 100 percent share of voices throughout the campaign and made a remarkable and lasting impression on audiences across print, digital, and social mediums.
This campaign's native articles were divided into three categories: People, Stays, and #T+L. The cover story delves into the stay experience at Leela Palace, with cover star Manushi discussing the allure of the Leela Palace Jaipur. The second article in the People category, the story went behind the scenes of Manushi's cover shoot. The final post explored the cover shoot experience in Jaipur, written by Travel + Leisure India & South Asia Editor-in-Chief Aindrila Mitra.
