Life at BurdaLuxury – Cherry Siriraporn

Cherry brings a strong foundation in finance to her role as a Regional Financial Analyst at BurdaLuxury. She began her career within the tech sector, before exploring analyst roles in hospitality, which later on fueled her passion to pursue a master’s degree in the UK. Through her financial projects at BurdaLuxury, she not only brings deep expertise in finance and accounting, but a resilient mindset shaped by strong self-belief.

Tell us about your experience prior to your role at BurdaLuxury?
I graduated from Mahidol University International College with a major in Finance, and I started my corporate career in accounting roles in tech companies. After that, I realised that I wanted to apply what I had learned from my degree, which led me to pursue opportunities as a Financial Analyst in a hospitality company. My main responsibilities included preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts – I was specifically interested in corporate finance, so I wanted to add to that by pursuing a master’s degree in the UK.

What does a typical workday look like for you?
My typical workday depends on the monthly schedule and adhoc tasks. At the beginning of each month, I mainly focus on consolidating monthly financial reports and reviewing them country by country, which involves working closely with the Finance Managers in each country. I also work on annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the region and am currently involved in regional finance transformation projects to enhance analysis efficiency.

What do you appreciate most about the team?
They are very supportive and open-minded, and we can freely discuss our opinions. I can reach out to them whenever I have any questions, and they always try their best to provide me with answers.

What’s one thing you learned about yourself during this role?
Being involved in finance projects was quite new for me because I needed to collaborate with people from both inside and outside the company across different countries. This experience improved my communication skills and my ability to adapt to different working styles.

Name a future goal you see yourself achieving as Regional Finance Analyst?
My goal is to deepen my expertise in financial analysis and gain a better understanding of the company overall. I hope to provide insights that are helpful to the team and in the future!

What life event has inspired you most to date?
When I was studying for my master’s degree abroad – I was in a completely different environment, away from my family. I remember after taking my first exam in the first semester, I felt that I was sure I’d fail. I was under a lot of pressure and was extremely stressed – I was calling my sister and telling her I didn’t know what to do if I failed. When the results came out, I found out I had passed. This experience taught me to never doubt myself. Even when I feel disheartened, I can overcome it if I just try my best.

Three words to describe BurdaLuxury.
Creative, Innovative, and Balanced.

Why BurdaLuxury?
BurdaLuxury, to me, is innovative and not like anything I’ve ever done before. It requires me to push my skills even more to make sure we’re ahead in such a competitive market, which makes it a great place to learn, contribute, and grow.

From Tools to Trophy Pieces: The Evolution of Luxury Kitchenware

In October, Porsche and Smeg unveiled a collaboration that blends the roar of the racetrack with the quiet rituals of the kitchen, reimagining everyday appliances through motorsport heritage and Italian design. Anchored by a limited-edition tribute to the Porsche 917 KH – the Salzburg-red icon that secured Porsche’s first Le Mans win in 1970 – the collection includes a numbered FAB28 fridge and bean-to-cup coffee machine wrapped in racing stripes and matte-black accents, joined by two additional ranges in Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic that reinterpret Porsche’s signature hues across toasters, kettles, blenders, and more. It’s a striking example of how kitchenware has evolved far beyond function to become a modern status symbol, where craftsmanship, nostalgia, and design converge in the everyday theatre of the home.
