On the evening of Tuesday, 15 April 2025, AUGUSTMAN Malaysia ushered in the celebration of the brand’s annual A-List with A-List: The Call at the Satellite Restaurant & Bar, Imperial Lexis Kuala Lumpur, set against the backdrop of the Petronas Twin Towers – in partnership with Cycle and Carriage, Guess, and Johnnie Walker Blue Label.
A-List is one of the brand’s most exclusive private networks, a symbol of excellence, and a platform for showcasing Malaysia’s finest gentlemen. This year, AUGUSTMAN announced its A-List campaign in Singapore for the very first time.
The evening kicked off with A-List alumni and future A-Listers arriving at the venue to receive welcome drinks, providing them with the opportunity to network as well as setting the tone for the night as Farhan Shah, Editor-in-Chief, AUGUSTMAN Malaysia & Singapore prepared to formally welcomed everyone.
Welcome speeches for the evening commenced with Lena Kwek, Managing Director & Publisher for BurdaLuxury Singapore & Malaysia who welcomed A-List alumni and past Men of the Year awardees, and thanked everyone for arriving with their A-game, before passing it over to Farhan who reiterated the purpose of AUGUSTMAN’s A-List.
“A-List started in 2014 in Malaysia, with the purpose to find gentlemen who embody style, substance, and success. Someone who is considered the ‘modern gentleman’ – the definition of this term is always evolving,” said Farhan.
The rest of the evening was open to guests enjoying live performances from Clinton Jerome Chua, an A-List alumni from the class of 2020, and DJ Curzon, awardee of AUGUSTMAN Men of the Year 2018.
With A-List: The Call, AUGUSTMAN is enhancing transparency around the selection process by introducing an interactive, experience-led approach. An undercover brand representative spent the evening engaging with potential A-Listers to determine whether they embody the values that determine an A-List, ensuring a selection process that is both authentic and aligned with the brand’s vision.
