Lifestyle Asia Kuala Lumpur Celebrates Third Annual LSA100

On the evening of 11 December 2024, Lifestyle Asia Kuala Lumpur hosted its third annual LSA100 event at the M Resort & Hotel Kuala Lumpur, in partnership with BYD Cars Malaysia, Evian, Geox Malaysia, and 1664 Malaysia. Each year, Lifestyle Asia Kuala Lumpur’s LSA100 pays tribute to 100 Malaysians and their milestones – each individual an icon representing the community, leading the industry, and inspiring the people around them on a larger scale. These 100 Malaysians encompass industries spanning the arts, sports, sustainability, technology, and culinary, amongst many others.

The evening commenced with a special Blue Hour Takeover, courtesy of our partners at 1664 Malaysia, followed by a performance by MsKuan and a fleet of dancers. Emcee Maggy Wang, who has hosted the LSA100 Year End Party for three consecutive years took to the stage to welcome Lena Kwek, Managing Director and Publisher, BurdaLuxury Singapore and Malaysia, and Martin Teo, Editor-in-Chief, Lifestyle Asia Kuala Lumpur for their opening speeches.

“I’m extremely grateful to be part of a community that constantly empowers me with their creativity, authenticity, determination, and unbreakable spirit,” said Teo. “With LSA100, we continue to celebrate milestones through storytelling and inspire those around us to live their best lives.”

The opening speeches were followed by the Best Dressed Award, presented by EQ Kuala Lumpur, and the King and Queen of Pose contest, presented by Geox Malaysia. Following the first round of awards of the evening, girl group and LSA100 Class of 2024 cover stars, DEFAM took to the stage to perform their latest song.

In pursuit of championing the local creative and music scene, this year, Lifestyle Asia Kuala Lumpur introduced the LSA100 Rising Icon of the Year Award to recognise the up-and-coming Malaysians who are making waves in the country and beyond, with the award going to the all-female DJ trio, Cherry Bomb. Malaysia’s very first Malaysian Idol, Jaclyn Victor was the recipient of this year’s LSA100 Icon of the Year award, presented by BYD Cars Malaysia, and Ms. Adeline Lew, General Manager of Sime Darby Beyond Auto.

The evening concluded with a lucky draw, with prizes sponsored by the Ascott Group and Heavens Portfolio.

Lifestyle Asia Kuala Lumpur’s LSA100 was curated with special thanks to Archiluxury Group, Chivas Regal, Martell, Monkey 47, NARS, and ZUS Coffee.
