How’s your career journey like at BurdaLuxury?
My professional journey at BurdaLuxury has been quite exciting. From the time when the brand I handled was practically unknown in the market, to the time when it is quite sought after – from the learnings I have received while working under various leadership to the nuances of the digital business, my journey has been anything but boring.
What’s the most exciting part of your job?
Garnering revenue for the organization while inspiring and motivating other team members (irrespective of what portfolio they hold) to constantly innovate, adapt and strategize as per the constantly changing environment.
What’s something you’re proud of?
I’ve been able to deliver and live up to my commitments every step of my career, despite all the odds that came my way.
With global businesses undergoing major changes, what are some of the changes you think we’ll see from a sales perspective as we begin recovering from Covid-19?
Print will stay but the growth will be staggered. I believe consolidation is inevitable, and this can be seen through digital content, and how it’s getting consumed like never before. We need to be aware of this to stay ahead!
What characteristic do you like most about yourself?
“Never give up, come what may” – this is the spirit that defines me. I like to face challenges head on and focus always (only) on solutions. With this positive approach I have seen all problems being resolved very easily and have had fantastic outcomes under all circumstances.
What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?
That there are no shortcuts in life. You have to learn and grow the right way – only then can you reap the fruits of true success and happiness.
