AUGUSTMAN Malaysia Celebrates 16 Years of Men of the Year

AUGUSTMAN Malaysia celebrated 16 years of its annual Men of the Year event on 12 December 2024 at Ciao Ristorante in partnership with Jaecoo, Evian, Kapten Batik, and Cole Haan.

AUGUSTMAN Malaysia’s Men of the Year event is curated as a celebration of the success, commitment, and courage of the outstanding men who are doing stellar work in their respective industries throughout the year. The Men of the Year event aims to inspire the younger generation to create their own paths in life and encourage them to make their voices heard. This year, 10 individuals were honoured across 9 categories: activism, intellect, visionaire, film, entrepreneur, music, sport, style, and art.

The evening commenced with honourees and guests of AUGUSTMAN Malaysia arriving for pre-cocktail hour, dressed in their best Bohemian Chic looks. Guitarist and singer, Jude Macson, served as the opening performance, inviting attendees into the restaurant as they prepare to celebrate the honourees.

Lena Kwek, Managing Director and Publisher of BurdaLuxury Singapore and Malaysia, and Farhan Shah, Editor-in-Chief of AUGUSTMAN Singapore and Malaysia delivered opening remarks. Kwek and Shah emphasised AUGUSTMAN’s mission to serve as the one true guide that defines the lifestyle and passion of the modern gentleman, highlighting that the recipients of the Men of the Year award are the epitome of success, conviction, and inspiration.

The opening speeches were followed by a short documentary highlighting this year’s honourees and their achievements and contributions towards Malaysia’s society. The 10 honourees were then presented with the Men of the Year 2024 awards across nine categories.
