BurdaLuxury Appoints Farhan Shah as Editor-in-Chief of AUGUSTMAN Singapore and Malaysia

BurdaLuxury, one of Asia’s leading media companies, today announced the appointment of Farhan Shah as Editor-in-Chief of AUGUSTMAN Singapore and Malaysia, effective immediately. Based in Singapore, Farhan will spearhead the editorial direction and strategy for the editions in both countries, reporting directly to Lena Kwek, Managing Director and Publisher of BurdaLuxury Singapore, with a dotted line to Natasha Kraal, Publisher of BurdaLuxury Kuala Lumpur.

Joining with a decade of experience within the luxury, editorial, and publishing industry, and having previously held the role of Editor-in-Chief at a+, Farhan is experienced in leading editorial teams and shaping high-quality publications.  

“Having Farhan join BurdaLuxury as Editor-in-Chief of AUGUSTMAN is a step in the right direction for the brand’s continued growth across Singapore and Malaysia,” said Kwek. “I trust that with his knowledge, and proven track record in media, particularly within the luxury lifestyle sector, he will bring innovative content and strategies to the publication, making him the right fit for the brand.”

In his new role, Farhan will oversee the editorial teams across Singapore and Malaysia, with the editorial team in Malaysia reporting directly to Farhan.  This new editorial structure aims to facilitate a better collaboration between AUGUSTMAN Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring a unified presence across the region.
