HELLO! Magazine Thailand Hosts Second Annual Taste Awards: Celebrating Excellence in Thailand’s Culinary Scene

Bangkok, March 13, 2024 – HELLO! Magazine Thailand hosts the HELLO! Taste Awards 2024, aimed at recognising and celebrating the finest restaurants and bars in Thailand. In partnership with Scarlet M Card, Platinum M Card, Bangkok Bank M Visa Credit Card, RCD Design Center Co., Ltd., and celebrity judges. The award was held at the Camillia Ballroom at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, and is aimed at elevating Thailand’s vibrant food and beverage industry.  

Esteemed guests in attendance include Bjorn Rettig, CEO of BurdaLuxury, Christoph Pagel, COO of BurdaLuxury, Kessuda Marawichai, Editor-in-Chief of HELLO! Magazine Thailand, Ploydee Chantarasomboon, Social Director of Digital Content, HELLO! Magazine Thailand, Woraluck Tulabhorn, CMO of The Mall Group Company Limited, Ikuya Tamaki, Overseas Operations of Cleanup Corporation for RCD Design Center Co., Ltd, and Sarut Traipiyawongse or Celeb Ping. 

“The HELLO! Taste Awards marks another significant milestone for us as we strive to uplift Thailand’s culinary landscape. Having launched in 2020, the HELLO! Taste Awards was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges this posed, we remain committed to recognising excellence in the food and beverage sector, fostering tourism, and catering to individuals with sophisticated palates,” said Kessuda Marawichai, Editor-in-Chief of HELLO! Magazine Thailand.  

Marawichai also extended her gratitude to The Mall Group for their support in crafting the HELLO! Taste Awards 2024 as the ‘Guide for Food Lovers’.  

“This year, we’re giving awards to the best restaurants and bars that have been selected by the HELLO! Editorial team and celebrity judges, with a total of 23 awards for 23 establishments,” said the Editor-in-Chief. 

The awards have been divided into two categories, including Editors’ Choice and Celebrities’ Choice, encompassing various culinary genres and dining experiences.

  • Best Modern Thai Cuisine: Front Room at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel 
  • Best Fine Dining: Løyrom and Maison Dunand
  • Best Omakase: Tenko at King Power Hotel Bangkok 
  • Best Chinese Cuisine: Mei Jiang at The Peninsula Hotel 
  • Best Destination: Pebbles Bar and Grill at The Renaissance Pattaya Resort and Spa 
  • Best Western Cuisine: R-Haan and Red Lobster 
  • Best Italian: Volti Tuscan & Bar at Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok 
  • Best Buffet & Brunch: Lord Jim’s at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok
