Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Macau Announces 2024 Luxury Award Winners, Celebrating the Pinnacle of Luxury Travel and Hospitality Across Asia Pacific

Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macau celebrated the second annual Luxury Awards event last night at Capella, Bangkok. The celebration, presented in partnership with The Mall Group, highlighted the pinnacle of luxury travel and hospitality across the Asia-Pacific region. The event was attended by prestigious hospitality leaders, including Vice Presidents, General Managers, and Directors of Sales and Marketing from the industry’s most celebrated brands, including the Rosewood, Raffles, and Six Senses.

The 2024 Luxury Awards span over 20 categories and 15 countries and territories, reflecting the broad spectrum of luxury travel in the Asia-Pacific region, with the highest vote-getters ranked in top-10 and top-5 lists. From the busiest cities to the most secluded destinations, the winners showcase the best in high-end travel, as chosen by Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Macau’s readers. Voting for the best in the industry was open January through March of 2024 and garnered more than 200,000 votes through Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Macau’s online voting forum.

The evening began with BurdaLuxury’s CEO, Björn Rettig, and Editor-in-Chief of Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macau, Jeninne Lee-St. John, taking to the stage to shed light on the places and people that make Asia Pacific No. 1 in the world of hospitality.

“I am delighted to celebrate the second annual Luxury Awards,” said Björn Rettig, CEO of BurdaLuxury. “This event showcases the excellence and innovation within the hospitality and travel sector, and we are honoured to highlight the remarkable destinations and experiences that continue to make Asia Pacific the epicentre of luxury travel.”

Jeninne Lee-St.John, Editor-in-Chief, Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Macau

“It’s been an exciting 12 months for hospitality in Asia Pacific, and so gratifying that that we’ve come back in print in time to celebrate all the best hotels in the business along with so many fantastic new openings,” said Jeninne Lee-St. John, Editor-in-Chief of Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macau. “I’m so happy for all the winners of our 2024 Luxury Awards, who prove that if you give guests amazing, unique, meaningful experiences, they’ll never forget you. Forging connections is one of the most important benefits of travel, and something we strive to foster in these awards and our storytelling every day. That wouldn’t be possible without such a dedicated, inspiring hospitality community in this region.”
